I am Patti Lindgren, a grandmother from a village called Manitou Beach on a special lake called Little Manitou on special lands in Saskatchewan, Canada. I live my life as instinctively as possible, part of the bubbling up of a healthy feminine presence returning, helping to make waves for positive change in the fabric of our lives at home, with each other in relationships of care, trade and community and with the natural world.

Welcome to a den for barefoot social working as I like to call it, relevant service in response to the relevant needs and opportunities in these extraordinary changing days.

Wild & Salty Healing Company

Wild refers to our original nature, back to instincts and basics so that we can innovate and progress in healthy ways for the times we’re in. Our countries and regions have been and continue to be organized for the benefit of those who possess a relentless desire for the pilfering, controlling and degrading of life, without a shred of honour coming from their poison well. It seems hopeless some days, but the original nature in ordinary people always knows the way home.

Salty refers to the way salt feels when it is helping to heal a wound. Renewing ourselves, our relationships and our systems for meeting the needs and opportunities in life stings a little. Sometimes a lot. This is a place where we congregate for some wild and salty healing and barefoot social working, learning to collaborate and be good company for one another while we’re letting go and innovating, being the change.

Barefoot Social Working

Like everything else fully human it seems, serving the social fabric has been co-opted, commodified, regulated, certified and funded by soul-sucking thieves. Healthy and natural feminine and masculine combinations and creations for the benefit of people, community and society have been twisted and snuffed, looking right now as though they may be extinct. Politicians and bankers consort with and are corporate interests, playing games with our currency and our lives for the enrichment of their cronies and themselves. We the people feel the pain and many, maybe even most, of us have been feeling as though we’re trapped with no way out.

Barefoot social working means to accept responsibility for Right use of one’s own power and to serve the greater good of others and society by contributing our authentic vocational abilities in step with our conscience and instincts. We look after ourselves and make our livelihoods count on the side of what is positive, healthy and just. We meet reality in every day with courage, ingenuity and benevolence.

A shared code for Right relationship and a dream for health and justice replaces unnatural, compromised and essentially impotent contortions of compliance to degenerative control.

Natural & Village Intelligence

Our natural intelligence is the intelligence we are born with. It is our particular genius, our capacity for love, our life force, earned wisdom and gnosis. Just like the animals we call wild, human beings are imbued with basic needs and resources that are one with the intelligence of nature. Village intelligence is the community version of natural intelligence where we assemble and organize to create spaces that hold all beings dear, working together to provide the experiences, products and services needed for all to thrive in creativity, relationship and peace from birth to death.

Turtle Island Transformational Leadership Initiative

TITLI is an acronym for Turtle Island Transformational Leadership Initiative, a nature and spirit based idea and geometry for life and trade that tends to personal, relational, collaborating community and cultural health. It is a way for we the people to claim our power, meeting real needs and with real resources. TITLI draws from the inherent gnosis and power of nature and can be taken up by any group of people anywhere.

I have worked the name out in a way meant to pack a whollop of natural power, conveying a frequency for land-based evolutionary leadership, claiming our power and impulses to be part of the solution. You may have also noticed that it includes the word tit, which is to accentuate the role of the feminine returning into healthy partnership with masculine, bringing the wisdom and nourishment for life that is built into women to benefit the lives, families, communities and cultures that make our world.

Woman have been relegated to some awful places of nothingness, objectified, abused, ignored and encouraged to become men for a very long time. This is paramount to our condition overall and why in general we continue to flail. A genocide requires the perversion of masculine and feminine, the entrainment of youth to mental illness and a discarding of elders and wisdom.
